The site is an interstitial space between the Architecture department and the Science museum in Delft. These two cultural institutions regulate and control flows of movement and activity around and beyond the boundaries of the site. Through trans and dis-programming the site can act as a node for auxiliary activities. By introducing a diverse range of uses we destabilise the existing contours of the institutions and provide new points of interaction and engagement. This framework can develop and extend to neighbouring undefined and underused space. | The site is an interstitial space between the Architecture department and the Science museum in Delft. Manifesto
Through analysis of social and cultural context as well as the physical context we will define a framework for opportunities and uses which can renvigorate the space.
Client: diversity
Challenge: disrupting monoculture
Intervention: auxiliary activities which break the rhythm and contours of monoculture
