Conclusions week 1 (5 - 9 september)

The site has a very distinctive and strong character. According to our own thoughts of the site and the results of the interviews. Its a place of serenity but sometimes this serenity is disturbed by the noise. And is a pity that a lot of people until now didn't discover the place. On one hand we want preserve that strong character and on the other hand we want to attract people to come into the park, which is already mentioned within the manifesto.

Our next step

Since we want to create a pleasant park to stay in, our first concern is to manipulate the disturbance which is caused by the noise. Therefore we want to come up with a structure, this can be a building, piece of "furniture" etc. which is able to do so.

Our initial idea was to come up with a structure which is situated underground. Such a structure is able to isolate from the noise. We are going to search for ideas/ways about how to create a structure like that and we are determined to find out the impact of having an underground structure Further on our plan is to look for references about structures which deal with sound in order to get an idea about the possibilities. We also have to come up with a proper analysis about the noise which is disturbing our site.
