Problems and Opportunities:

Based on the investigations,we discovered both problems and opportnities of the site.Generally speaking, the main issue of the site is the inappropriate and inadequate uses of the plants and space. On the other hand, the site does have the potential of becoming a comfortable space for communication of the actors who are from different departments, because of its good location.

Therefore, how about taking advantages of its opportunities to address the problems? That is my strategy.

Guidline of my Concepts:

To articulate my concepts,I find some keywords to guide them

keywords:dynamic, adjustable, interactive, adaptable functions

1.Instead of some stable programs,I look forward to a dynamic and adjustable functionality for our design.Although we will determine a main connection(it will probably be the board of TOP technical meeting point delft ) among all the influential actors and potential actors, nevertheless the site will also be used by other actors based on their demands. We will enable the design to adapt to the variable programs by changing it shape or composing its components, which also means the building can become an exhibition space,a gallery,a platform for groupwork and communication,or a outdoor cinema based not only on what we hope it to be,but on what the users hope it to be. In result, the design will take on the flexibility and adaptablility with respect to function. The relationship between the building and people who use it will be in an active status of interactivity.

2.A dynamic and changable form of the design will raise the interests of local people to explore the building over and over again, which will also help to increase the publicity of the site.
