These functions will be walking, cycling, BMX, skating, lounge area (indoor/outdoor), meditation space. The new space will have a strong identity, while each function- area (part of the whole construction) has different qualities (open/closed/semi-closed space, flat/curved floor-wall, visibility-non visibility etc). Primary aim is creating a public space where the user, alone or in groups, feels comfortable while sitting, eating, transiting, conversing and/or reading along it. | ||

SYMBIOSIS
According to the idea of the SYMBIOSIS, we are trying to design-fabricate a medium scale structure-installation made of particles. We call it SYMBIOSIS because the structure is adopted to the site.(each site). It interprets each site’s characteristic and needs and changes. As a symbiotic organism, our structure depends on the site.
Sponsors
Sponsors for our construction will be TU Delft, constructions companies and material companies. The construction will be a publicity/advertisement for each one as it will be made of their materials.
INTERVENTION
For the specific site:
Our intervention will be a public space and a path through the park linking different functions. These functions will be walking, cycling, BMX, skating, lounge area (indoor/outdoor), meditation space. The new space will have a strong identity, while each function- area (part of the whole construction) has different qualities (open/closed/semi-closed space, flat/curved floor-wall, visibility-non visibility etc). Primary aim is creating a public space where the user, alone or in groups, feels comfortable while sitting, eating, transiting, conversing and/or reading along it.
