Inflatable components are alligned in a linear way, thereby creating long strips of curvature. The amount of curvature is controlled per inflatable component. The rib component around the inflatable component gives the structure stiffness and is the direct cause of the curvature.

Linear components arranged in a brick-like pattern.
The main advantage of this system is direct stiffness in the construction due to the longer and linear inflatable components. The main disadvantage of this system is the limited amount of curvature, also because of the length linear inflatable components. As in, no sudden curve changes are possible.
