Erik van Hunnik is the chairman of the TUNoord.

In the first interview with Erik he stressed the beautiful charachter of the park and he suggested that by coming up with just a few adjustments the park would become a perfect place. The idea of soundscapes is really creative and innovative. In the first interview I mentioned that the introduction of a structure which can block off the noise would definitely help to improve the charachter of the park. And the proposal for te site is far more beyond that. It is really clever to not just simply block the noise but try to change the way how people perceive the park by introducing different spaces which are able to manipulate sound differently. These different spaces which create genuine dynamic environments do evoke curiousity and will attract people, not for once but I would say every day again (because sound changes every second, and a different situation will occur again and again).
