Romina lives very close to the De Vries van Heystplantsoen park, and is an avid reader. She was glad to see that the intervention maintained the natural character of the park,that it added sitting areas, and that because the project brought attention from the community, more users in the park mean a safer environment throughout the day.

Although she uses the park to cross away from noisy Mijnbouwstraat, most of the time she is seen reading for hours while laying on a quiet area away from the street noise, provided by the sound absorbing wall. Romina not only likes the quietness of her favourite area but also that she can watch others enjoy the park without disturbing her reading; she feels inspired as she watches activities from the aperture directed towards the main open area of the site from a safe distance, she enjoys the sensation of being an "audience".
