This is because of two reasons.
Delft is in particular famous for it's technical university.
The sit is located at the North of the TU-campus ann in front of the faculty of architecture.

however the road creates a separation between the two, and weakens the connection.
Further more there isn’t a clear visible access to the site if you are leaving from BK-city.

The site is also a nice place to organise every year events en meetings for the students.

To make a more clear connection there should be some good pedestrain path.
Maybe with a path wich goes under or above the road.
