Mimoa is a relatively small community which is used to upload basic information about modern architecture all over the world. Their database is expanded daily and can be used in a number of ways. For example, people can create a guide with architecture they would like to see. These guides are also available to others, so more people can benefit from it. This is one of the many ways an online community can work together to organize activities which are of use to others as well.

The new design will act as a central platform giving the university a space to display the outstanding work of its student body from all faculties, it will hosts lectures and even act as an extended work space for the students. It will enable an active and direct collaboration of knowledge while acting a phycial connection between the different buildings of the campus and the rest of the city.

Bees and ants in nature work together to ensure the survival of their species. They act as a superorganism, with the help of very smart interactive communication systems this organism can operate without hierarchy, it's like different cells in your body work together to form you as a person. This kind of organism is able to defend themselves against big animals like bears but also build big cities containing millions of individuals. Our project should behave the same way, interacting with each other to be better then the sum of its parts, building (projects) and defending against attackers (critics).

We reward those who contribute the most; the more you help others, the more you'll get back from it. This is actually exactly what torrents are all about. VideoSift is a videos sharing community. Users are in charge of what videos get the most attention. The [http://www.varocms.com/powered CMS] used by Videosift is so advanced, that people are given more privileges by helping others. For example by repairing region blocked or dead video links, they can automatically earn points which they can use to publish videos they like most to the frontpage.

 +
This ensures the most active users have the most influence on what information gets the most attention. An added incentive to become more a more active part of the community is an overall scoreboard of who has earned the most votes on all uploaded videos and comments. We strive to create a similar system with relevant information for the MSc1 Hyperbody design students.

Information

' Google's mission is to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful. '

This is exactly what we are trying to achieve, however with a totally different scope. We specialize on our small community within the Faculty of Architecture; the MSc1 Hyperbody atoms 'world' including their links to teachers, actors and other necessary sources.

By matching students, teachers, experts, atoms and others, these actors can help each other reach their design goals most effectively.
