The site is a large open park surrounded by important buildings such as the BK City, Delft Science Center, Botanical Garden, housing buildings, with several green areas. bus stops, parking area and crossing pathways connecting one side of the road to another across the park. The brief calls for a sheltering structure at the TU Delft campus to extend the existing outdoor area connecting the park.
