The red triangle shows the area which is described above.

The blue lines represent an important traffic way, the site in red, is in between these two roads and they cause quite a lot of noise.

Buildings on the edge of the site are directly related to this place. As mentioned The Faculty of Architecture, The Science Centre, but residential for students, in the future as well. These relations to the park are represented by the arrows. The yellow circle shows that the place has some potential, one of the potential thing is that it will be an entrance to the TU Delft campus.

The sharp angle which is caused by the roads and the depth of the road as well, are blocking out the east neighbourhood at the other side of the area.

When you add something to a place, it always has influence on the surrounding area. This influence could be both in possitive or negative way. More research needs to be done to investigate all the possible situations and their influences.
